YouTuber jtisallbusiness claims to have spent more than $100,000 on Diablo Immortal. However, this is now his undoing, because he can no longer find any players for the Battleground PvP mode. This blocks important parts of the endgame.
Imagine spending a small fortune on your favorite game and suddenly you are faced with an endgame barrier that excludes you from the most exciting activities in the game.
This is exactly what happened to the YouTuber “jtisallbusiness”. He is considered one of the biggest “whales” of Diablo Immortal and claims to have pumped over 100,000 US dollars into the real money shop. Due to the approximate exchange rate parity of the dollar and the euro, this is also almost 100,000 euros.

Player cannot become a real “Immortal” because PvP is on strike
What problems does the player have? Diablo Immortal is all about the fight between the Immortals and the Shadows.
Large-scale battles between the reigning Immortals and shadow clans, which prove themselves to be worthy contenders, regularly take place on the servers.
The Shadow Clans must complete certain tasks to earn a fight against the Immortals. Once that’s done, the big showdown ensues: an asymmetric battle between Immortals with special abilities and the Shadow Clan players.
jtisallbusiness was unable to participate in this epic battle that will determine the current “kings” on the server. Because he couldn’t complete his quest to become a proper Immortal.

Why couldn’t he complete the quest? This was due to the PvP battleground. Diablo Immortal’s matchmaking system attempts to match evenly matched players.
But jtisallbusiness seems to play in a league that nobody else on its server can match. He says in a video that he has about 350 wins on the battleground and only 3 losses (via youtube.com).
The high win rate combined with his 5,000+ build response apparently means that Diablo Immortal isn’t finding any teammates for him. jtisallbusiness says he has already spent over 50 hours searching for matches.

However, he needs a match on the Battleground to complete his Immortal quest. If he has not completed the quest, he cannot participate in the “Cycle of Strife” – the great battle between Immortals and Shadows.
So jtisallbusiness spent 100,000 dollars in the game only to find no more players and face a barrier in the endgame that excludes him from what is probably the most exciting content in the whole game.
According to jtisallbusiness, he spoke to Blizzard about the issue on Twitter a while ago, but it may take a few weeks for a fix – if there is one at all.
What do other players say about this? In the Diablo Immortal subreddit, a large thread has formed on the subject (via reddit.com). In over 600 comments players discuss the situation of jtisallbusiness and most of the time the commenters are not on the player’s side.
The thread creator still wants to point out that developer Blizzard is the problem. The rest of the thread, however, goes in a different direction – glee and accusations that he pumped way too much money into the game. Here are a few comments from the thread:
