Player pushes his console to its limits by turning the box into a garbage dump

Players in Starfield have far too much fun dropping loads of objects and littering their spaceships or even entire cities. A user has now shared a clip in which he pushed his console to its limits with lots of loot and a small explosion.

How did the player push his console to its limits? As the user “mrpickle123” explains on Reddit, after over 100 hours in Starfield he wanted to start a new run and thus start the “New Game+”.

By now, the player had already accumulated a decent supply of items. On top of that, he collected a lot of fire extinguishers during the course of the game in order to blow them up at the end – along with countless resources, weapons, equipment and everything else he could find.

“mrpickle123” then placed the collected items on the floor of the lodge, making the Constellation headquarters resemble a garbage dump.

In an attached clip you can see the player standing in front of a huge pile of items, which visibly caused the FPS (frames per second) of the role-playing game to collapse. According to the Reddit post, the player is active on the Xbox Series X.

Did the game crash? No. As the Reddit user reveals in his post, to his surprise, the game did not crash despite the severe FPS drops.

When he threw the grenade in the clip and triggered an explosion within his items, the game stalled so much that it briefly looked as if it was crashing. But Starfield stood firm.

How does the clip end? After Reddit user “mrpickle123” caused an explosion with his grenade, he used an ability granted by the artifacts to make the items float almost weightlessly for a few seconds.

The player then sprinted into the floating items, which soon fell to the ground and buried the player’s character. According to the Reddit user, the clip ends with the character’s death, buried under trash.

How does the community react? The Starfield community mainly jokes about the condition of the console. In the comments of the post, for example, users write that their console is on fire or would explode if there were more items.

However, other users also point out to mrpickle that there is an infinite storage in the player’s private room in the box and in the basement of the building. So he doesn’t have to throw all his items on the floor and can store them there instead.

But one thing has been clear in Starfield for a long time: players don’t throw their items on the ground because they have no other way to store them. Starfield players litter rooms or spaceships because they can:
