Player proudly shows off his new base, which he worked on for 8 hours – only receives criticism

A Palworld player shared his new base on Reddit. But there is criticism from the community because the design has a problem.

In Palworld, building your own base is a fundamental aspect of gameplay. But the game doesn’t tell you how to build and set up your base. You decide what your camp looks like.

Some players build more practically and small without worrying much about the appearance. Other players build pompous buildings that require a lot of work and then present the finished work on social networks.

This also applies to Reddit user “Jaaguri”, who shared a screenshot of his new base, taken from a bird’s eye view, with the community.

What is the player proud to show? Jaaguri posted a screenshot on the Palworld subreddit showing his newly built base. For the photo, he flew over the base with the Nitewing so that the structure of his camp could be clearly seen.

Jaaguri writes that he worked at the base with a friend for a total of 8 hours. The photo shows six houses, a livestock farm, a breeding site and a whole row of pal beds.

The most impressive thing about the Reddit user’s base, however, is the circular outer wall with which he protects the buildings inside and his pals from attacks. The same applies to some walls inside the base, which he used to form small alleys.

Player only receives criticism because his base has a problem

Why does he only receive criticism? The comments under Jaaguri’s post agree: the base looks cool, but it has a problem. Due to the arrangement of the walls inside and the buildings, the base offers very little room for movement for the Pals.

  • muguci: “I just noticed that your Suzaku Aqua is already outside the wall, maybe you should reposition your walls so that he is right on the line.”
  • Smell_Academic: “The cool design of the base is really compromised when there is already a Pal stuck in the picture.”
  • Mightteer: “Looks cool, the Pal hate it. They’ll never work properly.”
  • Kcore47: “My stupid Jormuntide Ignis would definitely get stuck on these walls.”
  • turtlelord: I assume no larger pals are allowed?
  • mojamc: “My pals are still stuck even though my base is relatively open. How often do you reset your Pals on this build?”
  • Many players suspect that the animals’ work performance will suffer due to the narrow walking paths and that the Pals will get stuck in certain corners. Especially larger monsters like a Jormuntid will run into problems.

Even in Jaaguri’s screenshot, you can see a Pal, a Suzaku Aqua, hanging outside the base on the outer walls.

In the comments under the post, Jaaguri himself speaks out again and explains that he may have to move some walls again.

So if you plan to design your base elaborately and possibly equip it with walls, you should consider the freedom of movement of your pals.
