Currently in Destiny 2 there is a desperate Guardian who has lost all 5 space abilities. That’s probably why he’s unique. His situation also gave some players old memories of the beginnings of the loot shooter in the Red Battle, but also fun.
What happened to the keeper? A few days ago, a desperate Guardian posted on the Destiny Reddit with the words “I’ve lost my light”.
Instead of gliding gracefully through the air and defeating his opponents with spectacular super punches, he now finds himself as a leisurely stroller, moving slowly across the ground and not even able to jump properly. He not only has a problem with that, but is probably currently unique in Destiny 2.
Amusing jokes were initially made in the comments under his post on Reddit. But they also tried to help him because he can’t play Destiny 2 anymore.
Is this Lightfall’s hardcore mode?
How did the loss of ability come about? As Recent_Leek_2592 explains on Reddit, he had Destiny 2’s newest ability, Strang, equipped when it happened. Actually, he just wanted to switch from PC to another platform to play.
However, what he hadn’t considered was that he doesn’t even own the current expansion “Lightfall” and therefore has no access to “Strang”.
While he has attempted to return to the PC where he owns Lightfall to switch his ability to an available subclass, such as Void or Arc, the problem persists there as well.
So he’s been stuck in the game for a few days now – can hardly defend himself and can’t jump far anymore, as he shows in this video:
It brings back old memories in the community
Guardians completely without light abilities? This last happened in Destiny 2 Year 1 during the Red Battle.
It was the moments when the Guardians realized what they are without the Traveler. However, this also awakened the spirit of challenge. As Virtual-Park-3349 commented, “Seeing this makes me want to play through the Red Battle again.”
In any case, fate seems to be playing a strange game with this guardian. However, the irony of the situation also made many other guardians smile.
It wasn’t long before the affected player was lovingly pointed out by Gravelord_Baron that they must have unlocked “Average Mode”.
As tragic as that is, a few jokes at his expense just had to get out:
However, others said that this would be a unique opportunity for him to take on the toughest challenge in Destiny 2, to make himself immortal in the endgame of the loot shooter.
One now hopes for the help of Bungie: So far all rescue attempts have been in vain. The players’ tips didn’t change the situation – no matter what you tried. That’s why the player is now hoping for help from Bungie Support to get out of his predicament.
How about you? What advice would you give the Keeper? And can you still remember your lightless days in Destiny 2? Is that why you would want to play Red Battle again? Or do you think the guardians will lose their light anyway at the end of the great saga? Then feel free to comment.
Perhaps the Lightless Warden should switch to using chairs in Destiny 2:
