There were only minutes left in the match when the accident occurred. A player from Brynäs fell and the Luelå back Jenni Hiirikoski got a skate to the neck and was left lying on the ice.
Medical personnel were quickly on the ice and the match was stopped at the score 4–3 to Luleå.
Shortly thereafter, most of the players left the ice.
According to SVT, it is a cut on the neck.
