Player completes dungeon in 11 seconds – solo and at level 20

It takes less than 12 seconds to complete a dungeon in World of Warcraft – at least if you use all the tricks available to you.

We’ve already seen some crazy records in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. This is hardly surprising, as the heroes’ stats continue to escalate and reach insane heights.

But some records make you blink in confusion and look closely at how this is actually possible. For example, the approximate record for the dungeon “Scholomance”, which was completed in under 12 seconds.

What kind of record is that? It’s about a record in WoW Remix: Mists of Pandaria. Here, speed runners try to push the absurd possibilities of this game mode to their limits, using several game mechanics and some glitches to complete dungeons as quickly as possible.

This has already led to absurd successes, such as a visit to the Temple of the Jade Serpent, which was over after only 21 seconds.

How is that possible? This is made possible by a combination of several factors. Firstly, “Conzil” plays a demon hunter. They benefit massively from increased movement speed through their mastery and are an extremely mobile class anyway.

In addition, most of the record holders only use a test account for World of Warcraft. This is because the maximum level is then limited to 20, while the character stats continue to increase due to the artifact cloak. This means that level 20 characters are often more powerful in scaled game content – such as dungeons – than characters at the maximum level.

Much more importantly, however, the demon hunter has a double jump and the ability to glide. This allows the character to jump onto a torch at the start of the dungeon and then glitch through the wall. Using the Chi-Jo pedestal, he can then move through the dungeon in no time (or rather, under it) and land precisely in the room of the final boss: Dark Master Gandling.

He has very little to oppose his character, so after 11.60 seconds the final boss is dead and the dungeon is completed. This may not be the most efficient way to farm bronze, but it is still a very impressive achievement.
