Player complains about chaos in his base, but this is actually a huge advantage

A Palworld player complains about the disarray in his camp, but what he doesn’t realize is that he’s unwittingly using a clever trick.

Why does the player have chaos in his base? As is well known, in Palworld you can not only catch and breed many different Pals, you can also have them do different jobs. They farm stones and wood for you, smelt metal or produce organic products such as eggs, milk, honey and wool on a livestock farm.

The Pals usually store the farmed and produced resources independently in boxes and cupboards if you have any in your storage. However, this wasn’t the case for one player on Reddit and his three livestock farms were overflowing with food.

The chaos makes food last longer

What kind of advantage is that? As players write in the comments on Reddit, the food produced on the livestock farm does not have an expiration timer if it is still on the ground. This only starts when you collect the respective product and have it in your inventory or a box.

The expiry timer indicates how long a food or ingredient will last. For example, if you have a berry in your inventory and it has a shelf life of one minute, then it will be removed from your inventory after that minute has expired.

So the player who complained on Reddit about the chaos in his base doesn’t just have a messy cattle farm with everything lying on the ground. He also has a huge food warehouse that doesn’t expire important ingredients like milk, eggs and honey.

Clever food storage for making cakes

Why is this such a big advantage? If you want to breed Pals in Palworld, you have to make cakes and place them in a breeding farm. For this cake you need flour, eggs, berries, milk and honey.

Because the food doesn’t have an expiration timer when it’s on the floor, you don’t have to worry about storing it refrigerated. In addition, it is then not necessary to use the food quickly – i.e. before it expires.

You can simply leave them on the ground and only pick them up when you make the cake needed for breeding.
