A plane with Malawi’s Vice President Saulos Chilima and nine others on board has gone missing.
The military aircraft disappeared from the radar after it left the country’s capital Lilongwe on its way to the northern parts of the country on Monday morning.
“All attempts by aviation authorities to make contact with the aircraft since it took off have so far been unsuccessful,” a statement from the East African country’s government said.
A search effort has been launched, writes the BBC.
