Brantford police are investigating after a plane made an emergency landing on Governors Road on Friday evening.
A spokesperson for Brantford police confirmed that a plane had landed but could not provide any other details.

Reports on social media are advising motorists to avoid Governors Road west of Highway 24.
The plane landed on the road because of mechanical failure in the area near Elberta Farms. No injuries have been reported at this time.
Brantford police, Brant OPP, police and fire are on scene.
