The misspelled road sign – where plastic has been replaced – in central Västerås has received attention, not least in social media. When SVT is on site, several people pass by and laugh.
One of the P-guards passing by says that he and his colleagues had a good laugh about it at lunch.

According to Elin Enell, traffic engineer at the city of Västerås, it is not about any campaign or contribution to the climate debate, but about an accidental mistake that must be corrected. It was after the municipality ordered re-signing that the contractor put up new ones.
– It is obviously a mistake with the spelling. We simply have to order a new one, says Elin Enell.
Who will pay for this mistake?
– We must return to that. First we need to find out where it went wrong.
