The vision of Nico Acampora, however, is not limited to traditional restaurants, and aims to expand and distribute his idea of inclusive enterprise with the project “Pizzaut, a dream that travels on four wheels” Presented last July 2024 in Milan, at the Libeskind Tower of PWC in CityLife, which aims to take 120 autistic boys and girls by 2028. Exactly like the two restaurants in Pizzaut, also i Food Truck They have the goal of self -establishing themselves at an economic level and also reaching profits (according to the business plan 120 pizzas per day are sufficient to get to break even and start generating profits).
The business plan of the project Pizzauss was in fact edited by PWC Italiawith the support of a team of PWC Strategy professionals, and donated to Pizzaut. The establishment of a fleet of over 100 food trucks is expected, with 5 boys and girls on board, and therefore the creation of over 500 jobs hired indefinitely. Each truck will host 5 operatorsof which 4 belonging to the autistic spectrum, intended for food preparation, and an educator with a coordinator role. The first phase of the project involves the displacement of 15 Truckone for the Lombard province, who will be assigned to the associations that will request and respond, as coordination, brands and logistics, to the Pizzaut headquarters. A first test of Pizzaut “On the Road” had Lugo inside the last concert by Elio and the stories stretched at the Brianteo stadium of Monza, while the real debut of the Pizzaut Food Trucks will take place inside the next concert of Elio and the stories tense next July 5 in Bassano del Grappa. The Milanese rock group has long supported Nico Acampora’s project, and has been the aim of transforming its events into real real Inclusion Festival.
Another important aspect of the project is represented by the new platform Autism-friendly for the administrative management of food trucks, specially made to be used by children/and autistic. The development was followed directly by PWC Italia, which has paid particular attention to the user experience in order to make it compatible with the needs of people with autistic spectrum disorder, eliminating too bright colors, animations and banners, and making all the passages clear, explicit and understandable.
During the presentation of the project, Nico Acampora paid particular attention to the social value of its business model, which transforms the life of autistic boys making them, among other things, of taxpayers in all respects: a disabled boy who attends a day center represents a cost for the tax authoritiesand the centers are not always the ideal choice for all disabilities, while a disabled person who is inserted within an inclusive company becomes in all respects a member of the company that contributes also on an economic level, simply by paying taxes.
