“ Are you against the forced admission of illegal migrants, which poses risks to personal and economic security? » This is the question to which the Poles could be led to answer yes or no. Monday October 14, Mariusz Błaszczak, vice-president of the PiSsaid the party had already started collecting signatures. With one objective: to lead to a referendum against the European Migration Pact.
“ We are against illegal immigration. For us, illegal immigration is a threat to individuals and to the economy. We can clearly see the consequences of this immigration in Eastern Europe », says Mariusz Błaszczak.
THE migration pactadopted in the spring by the Member States, provides in particular for the equitable distribution of migrants among them. And recalcitrant states face a fine of 20,000 euros per refused migrant. Donald Tusk then also stated that Poland would not comply with this rule.
A year ago today, PiS had already organized a referendum on immigration. But at the time, the results were invalidated due to lack of sufficient participation. This time, the party hopes to be able to take advantage of the growing migratory pressure on the Belarusian border, while the number of illegal crossings has tripled in one year.
