Pieterse was in the lead for a while in the fourth and fifth laps, but saw Ferrand-PrÚvot in front of her again in the penultimate lap. In the last round, the Dutch multi-talent took over again and left the world champion behind. Loana Lecomte from France came third, Anne Terpstra had to settle for sixth place.
