Pierre Palmades alleged dealer arrested with three other suspects

Four people suspected of having supplied drugs to Pierre Palmade before his accident were arrested and placed in police custody on Monday. Three of them were brought before the courts on Wednesday. A trial is expected to take place on November 20.

In parallel with the investigation aimed at shedding light on the terrible road accident caused by Pierre Palmade last February, investigations concerning the network of drug traffickers, suspected of having supplied the comedian, were also carried out for almost eight months. Monday October 2, the gendarmes were finally able to arrest four people likely to be part of the network which supplied the actor. The comedian was under the influence of drugs at the time of the tragedy, which left three seriously injured, including a pregnant woman who lost her child.

According to information from Parisian, the suspects were arrested in the Paris region, in Seine-Saint-Denis and in Nemours, in Seine-et-Marne. The phone of Pierre Palmade would not be unrelated to his arrests. During his auditions, the actor also declared that he had “called a contact in Paris who agreed to [lui] deliver narcotics to Cély” before the accident. Placed for a time in police custody for “drug trafficking”, three of the four suspects, aged 21, 22 and 31, were referred to the Melun public prosecutor’s office on Wednesday. The fourth man would have been released without charge.

Tried on November 20

RTL affirmed for its part, Wednesday October 4 evening, that the three men referred will be judged on November 20. Information that seemed to confirm The Parisian. Note that in addition to the arrests, searches took place at the suspects’ various homes, leading to seizures of substances. These will be the subject of analyses.

For his part, Pierre Palmade would have been heard for the last time at the Melun judicial court on September 27, 2023, as part of his indictment for “homicide and involuntary injuries”. This key step in the end of an investigation should lead to a trial within a few months.
