“All my landscape artworks are specially designed and therefore inextricably linked to their place,” says artist De Kort. “That certainly applies to this work of art, it is even literally in the title. The moment I have installed a work of art, it actually only begins. Then the elements: the weather, the seasons and the ‘ravages of time’ take over and the work of art continues to develop, so management and maintenance is always a crucial factor.”
