The United States is sending additional weapons to Ukraine, to the value of 1 billion dollars, corresponding to more than 10 billion kroner, the Pentagon announces.
The new package includes additional ammunition for the Himars rocket artillery system, which has enabled Ukraine’s military to attack targets far behind the Russian front line. Also, more ground-based anti-aircraft robots, more Javelin anti-tank missiles and other munitions will be sent to Ukraine.
Since the start of the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine, the United States has provided $9.1 billion in military aid to the country.
