Freedom to Read refers to the right a person has to choose, explore and engage with diverse materials and ideas without censorship or restriction. Libraries play an essential role in upholding this freedom by offering a diverse collection of books and resources and fostering intellectual curiosity and open-mindedness, said Zeta Phillipo, director programs and collections at County of Brant Public Library.
There are library branches in Burford, Glen Morris, Paris, Scotland-Oakland and St. George.
