More than 500 people with a special interest in games, role-playing, cartoons, films and other things that can entertain fill the old Brogårdsskolan in Kristinehamn this weekend.
– If you like everything to do with creating something, or just hanging out, this is the right place, says organizer Emelie Korsbo about the event.
It is, to say the least, a colorful collection of people who meet you when you step through the doors to the 2023 PicaCon at Brogårdsskolan in Kristinehamn. Activities are going on everywhere and the vast majority are dressed up or decorated in one way or another.
– It becomes a way of expressing oneself. If you have a favorite character from a TV show or a movie, you can express it by dressing up, says Emelie Korsbo.
The highlight of the weekend is undoubtedly the traditional parade followed by a costume contest. You can see how the parade looked this year in the video above.
