(Finance) – Positive day for Piazza Affariwhich does better than the good performance of the Euro price lists, with the eyes of investors focused on the next moves of the Central Banks with the market betting on a more decisive policy on the part of the ECB of easing monetary policy to support the economy after the worsening of manufacturing and services activity in the Eurozone in November.
Attention remains high on French political crisisafter the National Assembly’s motion of no confidence in the prime minister, as had not happened since 1962. The ball is now in the court of president Emmanuel Macron, who will have to quickly nominate a new prime minister capable of obtaining support in parliament to form a new government. If a new government is not formed before the end of the year (as is likely), the outgoing government could present a special bill to extend the 2024 budget to 2025, thus eliminating the risk of a shutdown.
THE’Euro / US Dollar shows a timid gain, with an increase of 0.52%. THE’Gold the session continues just below parity, with a drop of 0.50%. Oil (Light Sweet Crude Oil) continues the session just below parity with a negative change of 0.13%.
On equality, yes spreadwhich remains at +115 basis points, with the yield on the 10-year BTP standing at 3.20%.
Among the European price lists positive balance for Frankfurtwhich boasts an increase of 0.63%, a cautious trend for Londonwhich shows a performance of +0.16%, and is substantially toned Pariswhich recorded a capital gain of 0.37%. Strongly rising closing for the Milan Stock Exchange, with the FTSE MIBwhich achieved a gain of 1.59%, continuing the bullish streak highlighted by six consecutive gains, triggered last Thursday; on the same line, closes the race FTSE Italia All-Sharewhich ends trading at 36,830 points.
The value of the trades in the session of 5/12/2024 on Piazza Affari was equal to 3.17 billion euros, with an increase of 466.4 million euros, equal to 17.26%, compared to the previous 2, 7 billion; while the volumes traded went from 0.52 billion shares in the previous session to 0.64 billion.
At the top of the ranking of the most important titles of Milan, we find Unicredit (+5.03%), BPER (+4.52%), Telecom Italia (+4.45%) e Stellantis (+3.79%).
The steepest declines, however, occurred on Prysmianwhich closed the session at -0.86%.
