(Tiper Stock Exchange) – The deadline has been postponed for the presentation of offers on Piaggio Aero Industries and Piaggio Aviationthe two companies under extraordinary administration object of a sale procedure. This was decided by the extraordinary commissioners Carmelo Cosentino, Vincenzo Nicastro and Gianpaolo Davide Rossetti, extending the deadline, which expired yesterday, to 19 June 2023 at 6 pm.
“The decision was made to allow some stakeholdersat their request, to have more time to prepare the necessary documents“, the company said.
This is the third call for the sale of the two company complexes, after the first two had not led to the identification of a buyer.
Meanwhile, management and commissioners remain focused on business continuity and are planning to attend key industry events, such as the Paris Air Showwhich is one of the must-see trade events for the aviation and aerospace industry.
At Le Bourget airport they will be the Piaggio Aero P.180s are at the forefront, exhibited in the air ambulance version, while the research team is developing a series of improvements to keep pace with innovation in the sector. Piaggio Aero, which has been recovering since 2020, boasts a order backlog of around 556 million euros and expects to reach the operational breakeven already at the end of this year. The order backlog of the P.180 Avanti Evo flagship aircraft is 17 units.

We therefore want to continue this positive trend to better prepare it for the definitive relaunch under the guidance of a new owner”.
