It was a packed house as local residents enjoyed a free Christmas dinner hosted by the Interfaith Caring Kitchen Wednesday at the Spirit & Life Center in Chatham.

Those attending were treated to a roast beef dinner and dessert served up by volunteers from St. Joseph-St. Ursula Catholic Church and the Chatham-Kent Muslim Association, who have worked together for 15 years.
The volunteer group also provides a soup kitchen twice a month.
