Their hands were cold but their hearts were warm. Hundreds of people bundled up for a long walk around the Avon River in Stratford on Saturday, raising about $140,000 for the Stratford Connection Center and Stratford/Perth Shelter Link. The annual Coldest Night of the Year event is part of a nation-wide fundraiser for charities serving people experiencing hurt, hunger, and homelessness.
