The 41st annual Blenheim Cherry Fest was another success.
People filled the streets of downtown Blenheim Saturday for the event that featured live music, carnival rides, shopping and the always entertaining cherry pit-spitting contest.
New this year were helicopter rides, offering participants a bird’s-eye view of the festivities, provided for the first time by Zimmer Air Services, an aerial agricultural spray company.
