The meeting held at the governorship building in the city of Yevlah, located close to Karabakh, was attended by MP Ramin Mammedov, President Ilham Aliyev’s representative in charge of contacts with Armenians in Karabakh, on behalf of Azerbaijan, and David Melkumyan and Sergey Martirosyan, representing Karabakh Armenians. An official from the Russian Peace Force also took part in the meeting.
No statement has been made yet regarding the details of the meeting in which the issues of integration of the Armenian population in Karabakh into Azerbaijan were discussed.

According to the statement made by the Kremlin, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
