The St. Louis Blues made a really smart, and according to some ugly, signing raid this summer. Namely, they picked on the Edmonton Oilers Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway using qualifying offers, the Canadian club was unable to match the bids. So the Swedish hill moved down to Missouri.
Be successful after the move
It seems to have done him good! In the opening eight rounds, the former AIK and Skellefteå player, originally from Örebro, has scored seven points. During the night, he scored his second goal of the season after just four minutes against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

St. Louis is fourth in the Central division after winning five of its opening eight games. On Sunday night, Swedish time, the Montreal Canadiens await.

There were many who were satisfied and satisfied with Broberg’s performance in the 5-1 victory against Toronto. He received a lot of praise both from teammates and from people on social media afterwards.
“But Edmonton fans said my Blues paid too much and he’s not even an NHL defenseman,” writes one person somewhat jokingly.
“This dude is crazy,” writes another.
“The Oilers could use a player like him,” comments another a little sourly.
“Getting important minutes and taking advantage of them! He’s been really fun to watch,” says someone.
