PewDiePie returns to YouTube with the joy of fatherhood

Famous creator Felix Kjellberg, known as PewDiePie, is back on YouTube with some big news.

World-renowned creator PewDiePie has made his long-awaited return, and he has done it in a pretty big way. YouTuber and publisher PewDiePie shared his first video after a few weeks and explained the birth process of his first child as the video subject.

PewDiePie is back on YouTube

PewDiePie, real name Felix Kjellberg, is a Swedish YouTuber and probably one of the most popular creators on the platform. With a successful career in the YouTube community for over a decade, PewDiePie has amassed a staggering number of subscribers and currently has 111 million subscribers. The news of becoming a parent was announced in February. Now their son Björn is born.

PewDiePie shared a long video

The long video shared by PewDiePie describes the emotional preparation for Björn’s arrival and the experience of being a father. At the beginning of the video, there are moments when he left his wife, Marzia, in the hospital. There he talks about being very nervous and having no experience of the whole situation. Björn’s birth is going smoothly, though his wife is at a point of concern as she could potentially have to have a cesarean delivery.

Following Björn’s arrival, PewDiePie also describes the process of adjusting at home with a newborn baby. Among the images in this episode are the reactions of their famous dogs Edgar and Maya. Dogs also seem to show intense interest in the last member of the house.

It seems unlikely that Kjellberg will reach his old level for content production in the next few years. PewDiePie left YouTube last year and this has resulted in a reduction in the amount of content due to the work/life imbalance. In preparation for Björn’s birth, he announced another break from the platform in late June, and it remains unclear how much content he will upload in the near future.

Additionally, PewDiePie’s Twitch account was banned a few weeks ago, again for unknown reasons. Any breaks seem to be welcomed by the fanbase, and the comment section of the baby video is pouring in praise and congratulations.
