As of the second week of March, the details of the equipment for the Peugeot 408, whose prices were announced in Turkey, were also finalized.
One of the new names that the Peugeot front added to its product range after a long time, the 408 managed to attract attention due to its Fastback design character. As of today, the first step in this regard is being taken for the model range, which is eagerly awaited in the sales process in Turkey after Europe. At the first stage, the equipment combinations for the Peugeot 408, which was announced to be offered only with a 1.2-liter PureTech gasoline engine and EAT8 gearbox combination, are divided into two. The 408 family can be preferred in Turkey with two different hardware combinations, Allure and GT. Performance and consumption
The new Peugeot 408 is imported to Turkey at the first stage with a 3-cylinder 130 HP 1.2 liter PureTech internal combustion turbo petrol engine. This engine, which has long been the cornerstone of the PSA front, continues to produce 130 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque. Combined with the 8-speed EAT8 automatic transmission and integrated with the start & stop feature, the engine meets the Euro 6.4 emission norm with these dynamics. With all the parts coming together, we see that the Peugeot 408 can reach a maximum speed of 210 km/h with this engine. For the model, which completes 0-100 km/h acceleration in 10.4 seconds, the factory output average consumption is 6.1 liters. It should be noted that the 408 is an SUV with a total weight of 1,393 kilograms. The luggage volume of the product range is 536 liters.
