The Norwegian hotel magnate and entrepreneur Petter Stordalen61, was previously married to the Norwegian doctor, philanthropist and environmental activist Gunhild Stordalen45. After 14 years together, the couple chose to go their separate ways, and in November 2019 they went public with their breakup.

Märta Elander Wistén is Petter Stordalen’s girlfriend
Today, however, Petter Stordalen lives with Swedish Märta Elander Wistén34. It was in 2020, shortly after Märta Elander Wistén divorced her ex and shortly after Petter Stordalen divorced his ex-wife Gunhild Stordalen, that the couple met.
– We met by chance a couple of times, then we had contact and we talked about her coming to visit me in Oslo. I said maybe it’s not the right time, I’m not my best self because of this crisis. She said she will still come to visit for a couple of days, Petter has previously said The evening paper.

Petter Stordalen and Märta about the age difference: “Will fight on”
Petter Stordalen was born in 1962, which means that there is a 28-year difference between him and his girlfriend, something they have told that they are often asked about.
Bianca Ingrosso asked the couple, when they were guests on her talk show, if it is difficult to plan a long future together when the age difference is large.
– Statistically, I will die long before Märta, that’s just the way it is. But until then, I will fight on, Petter said then.

When News24 met Petter and Märta at the Polar prize, they were asked which song defines their relationship, and they then revealed that there is a certain smash hit that is particularly close to their hearts. It has meant so much to the couple that it actually played a central role at Petter Stordalen’s luxurious 60th birthday party.

– It was released around the same time we met. And so when Petter turned 60, I performed together with Victor and sang it with him. So it has become our song.
