The accident happened at 11 o’clock in the morning, and he was taken from there by ambulance to Sunderbyns hospital, where he is now being treated in intensive care for serious injuries.
Viktor Johansson, chairman of the Älvsbyn Motorsällskap, did not see the accident but says that the driver must have been conscious when he was taken to hospital.

Earlier in the morning, a woman in her 30s was also injured in an accident during the SM competitions. According to Region Norrbotten, her injuries are minor, and she has already been able to leave the hospital.
