Peter Wettergren becomes technical director at the Swedish Football Association.
This is confirmed by the association’s chairman Fredrik Reinfeldt in Nyhetsmorgon.
– This team will now be deployed to sharpen our competitiveness, says Reinfeldt.
Now it is clear that it will be Peter Wettergren who will take over the talent development on the men’s side within the Swedish Football Association, SvFF. He has previously been assistant national team captain under Janne Andersson and worked as a scout for the national team since 2011.
– We do a lot of good things in Swedish football, but I am happy and grateful that I get the chance to contribute to how we can sharpen and make football’s operations even sharper, says Peter Wettergren in a press release.
On the women’s side, it has already been known that Caroline Sjöblom will take over talent development and the task of strengthening national team operations as technical director.
