Last spring it ended between Peter Forsberg and Nicole Nordin.
Now Foppa has undertaken his first assignment since the break-up.
Which will mean several weeks away from his three children.
Peter Forsberg, 49, is seen as one of the best Swedish hockey players of all time. The breakthrough came in Modo, before he progressed to the NHL. There he remained until 2011 when the professional hockey career ended.
Foppa & Nicole
In 2010, Foppa got engaged to the entrepreneur Nicole Nordin35. The couple met in Stockholm in 2009. Together they have three children – Lennox10, Lily8, and Diego6. But in March this year, the duo announced that they have gone their separate ways after 13 years together.
“After much thought, Nicole and I have made the decision to separate. The decision to give each other space is mutual and made with love. We will continue to be business partners and we will always be loving and devoted parents to our three children,” he wrote on Instagram.

Five years ago, the couple moved to Zug in Switzerland, where Forsberg still lives.
– When I am in Switzerland, there is a lot with and around the children, they have both hockey and soccer training and school. I think it’s funny that they play hockey, but we’ll see which sport they choose in the end, said the former hockey player in an interview with Sportbladet about life in Zug.
Forsberg’s assignment
When Peter is child-free, there will be a lot of travel and work. Now planning is in full swing for a trip to the USA where he will play a charity match in connection with, among other things Henrik Lundqvist is elected to the Hockey Hall of Fame.
The former Colorado Avanlanch player also continues the job collaborations with Nicole in the form of the investment company Archelio Capital and the co-ownership of the shoe company Inuikii. But now the hockey legend has taken on a mission where the ex-fiancée is not involved.

Foppa is ready for Kanal 5’s program “Over the Atlantic”.
“In the fall of 2024, a new group of brave sailors will set sail and it is already clear that Peter Forsberg will take one of the places in the crew,” writes Discovery in a press release.
The premise of the program is that six famous Swedes with no sailing experience will cross the Atlantic in a sailboat. A trip that takes between two to three weeks.
