Usually it is Niklas Wikegård who gets to like it.
But now Peter Forsberg says exactly what he thinks of the former TV expert.
Both are truly two real profiles in Swedish hockey. Peter Forsberg as one of our country’s very best hockey players of all time and Niklas Wikegård as one of our most outspoken TV experts.
Foppa’s new job
For a few years now, “Foppa” has also gone on to become a TV expert. He has also been praised for his efforts and is currently very current with Viaplay Hockey’s new venture “Goodmorning NHL”.

Words about Wikegård
Already in 2018, Wikegård paid tribute to a certain Peter Forsberg for his work as a TV expert.
“Peter Forsberg is so good in the studio. 100% himself, speaking from the heart. A lot is about ambition & attitude,” wrote Niklas on Twitter, now X.

Now Foppa gets the opportunity to say exactly what he thinks of Niklas Wikegård, see the video below.
– I’ve mostly seen a few headlines (about you). But I think you have a terrible commitment. I also think you saw, not only on the ice with game systems, but all around when you have complained about coaches with their hands in their pockets. I have somewhat the same thoughts about Niklas when it comes to teams, that you have to have a little will and a little bit of embrace. Fight a little, show heart and don’t think you can win hockey games by playing around a little, says Forsberg in the morning program.
– So, I can’t say that we have different views on hockey. But you dare to stand out all the time and dare to say things, I wouldn’t dare to do that day in and day out.
Niklas Wikegård recognizes a lot of himself in Peter Forsberg’s view of hockey.
– I think we are children of the same spirit. You compete to win and all things count, to win you have to do everything right. I hate the non-committal, when you get to a match, it’s a match and you’re prepared to do everything to win. I think Peter went damn far with it and I would have wanted to do that myself, says Niklas in the TV program.
