Pete Hegseth was grilled in the Senate: “Big problem for him”

During the four-hour hearing, Pete Hegseth had to answer questions about everything from his limited experience in senior positions to his alcohol consumption, alleged financial mismanagement, and allegations of a sexual assault, which he described as “anonymous slander.”

– Often when he was asked the questions about the accusations, he said that “this is just slander from the media and evil-minded people” and that is what he said all the time and he is not convicted of anything, says Jakob Stenberg in Current.

He was also criticized for previous comments he made about women in the military.

– This particular question about the relationship with women and accusations about it and also how he viewed women in combat units is a big problem for him. Perhaps his biggest problem now in the face of what is to come, is whether to go through this eye of the needle or not.
