@CoryBarlog – You gave us flashbacks to Gray Wolf Sif! Just because Tyr chained that pup up and left him in Helheim doesn’t mean he had to be a boss!
This dog has been chained outside in the cold for years. Kratos and Atreus found it in deplorable conditions, enduring the cold ravages of the Fimbulvetr, without any shelter. All dogs deserve loving homes and warm couches, even if they’re 60 feet tall. If you’re cold, they’re cold.
You have the power to create a “PETA mode” so that God of War Ragnarok can be played without animal abuse!
Inevitably, PETA’s message did not appeal to most players who were also indignant at an incomprehensible message towards a work and not a reality. This is not the first time that PETA has attacked the video game, since we remember that in 2020, the game Animal Crossing New Horizons had been singled out by the association which denounced a character who encouraged villagers to catch fish and then place them in tiny aquariums. Cory Barlog also took the time to respond to the association, telling them that it was not a real wolf, moreover from a Norse mythology. Of course, creating a game like God of War Ragnarök with a PETA mode where we won’t kill any animals is obviously not possible, and would make no sense either…
