The two pessimists had already predicted that FC Utrecht would lose to the national champion. The way in which, according to Paul Pessel, is incomprehensible, “It didn’t seem like anything again. When will we get to see the ‘old’ Utrecht again?” Not only Pessel & Boonen feel more and more like strangers within their own club. They think this feeling comes in many different areas. And that this may also be the underlying cause of the irregularities. “Those guys no longer feel at home at FC Utrecht. It is time for director Thijs van Es to have a conversation with them, because they feel a lot of incomprehension.”
