VAL DI FIEMME.
The last stage of the Tour de Ski in Finland Remi Lindholm stood out from the crowd. He was the only one who skied without a hat in what was thought to be horrible weather. Fairly large rags flew from the sky in the sleet.
Lindholm was not bothered by the situation.
– I should get a jacket around my neck soon, Lindholm still admitted in a TV interview.
Lindholm sometimes even finished in the top spots in the joint start race, but finished in 20th place. After the TV interview, Lindholm elaborated on the extraordinary solution compared to others.
– It’s not cold here. There are plus degrees here. Why should you wear a beanie while skiing? Lindholm threw.
The 25-year-old skier said he enjoyed the weather.
– This is great weather. I like it, Lindholm said.
Lindholm praised his skiing and therefore did not want to leave the leading positions.
– I easily got to the top. It’s more comfortable to ski there than with swords on the back. I was also able to run uphill. There was no need to do such a squeamish thing (Iivo Niskanen) sliding, Lindholm said.
Enraged Hyvärinen also attracted a lot of attention
Finland’s best man of the day had risen to 12th place Perttu Hyvärinen.
Hyvärinen also attracted a lot of attention at the Val di Fiemme ski stadium. He banged the billboard so hard after his finish, clearly exhausted.
Hyvärinen left to calm down for a while before arriving for media interviews. Hyvärinen’s outburst attracted so much attention that at least the Swedish media stopped the Finn to ask for comments.
However, in an interview with , Hyvärinen took a very moderate line after the competition, when he was asked about getting tired.
– Suddenly there were gaps that I finally got through. The last round could have gone even better, but at the end of the day, that place is quite good. Nothing better was available there, Hyvärinen said.
However, it was sad for Hyvri that in the last Zorzi-nou, three competitors broke their pole in front.
from Savoia granted to Ilta-Sanom on the other hand, after the competition, that “the competition accidentally got emotional”.
Norway won the competition Erik Valnes before Sweden William Poromaata and Switzerland Cyril Fähndrich.
Norway is leading the Tour’s overall competition Harald Östberg Amundsen more than a minute and a half away to Valnes.
