Up to 64,000 people who were in the police application system may have had their personal data exposed after a hacker attack.
It was in April that a supplier of the application system used by the police, Visma Recruit, was exposed to a data breach following a cyber attack. Now the police have issued an email warning the applicants that their personal data may have been leaked.
– This does not mean that everyone who received the email is affected, says Irene Sokolow, at the police’s National Media Center to SVT Nyheter.
