‘Personal care’ agreement from NASA! New ways to keep astronauts clean while in space

Personal care agreement from NASA New ways to keep astronauts

While going into space is a very, very big step for us, it’s an ordinary step for some astronauts who routinely travel to and from space. But going into space is only part of the job. The most important thing is to adapt to life in space. From this point of view, the personal care of astronauts going into space becomes important. The multinational company that manufactures personal care products, headquartered in New York, USA, made a surprise announcement this week on exactly this issue.

AGREEMENT SIGNED WITH NASA!

According to the news of Gizmodo, the company announced that it has signed an agreement with NASA to research new ways to keep astronauts clean in space.

The agreement initiates a relationship between the company and NASA to explore new ways to keep astronauts clean while in space, whether they’re in low Earth orbit or on a long-term mission. Moreover, this agreement will allow the company’s solutions to be tested on the International Space Station.

The company said in a press release that it is interested in working on oral care and skin care products that require less water, and sustainable packaging that can be used in space travel.

FORMER ASTRONAUT IS ALSO IN THE STAFF

Former astronaut Cady Coleman will serve as a strategic advisor to the company under the deal. Coleman will share his perspective as a person who has spent more than 180 days in space.

Exactly when the company plans to use the International Space Station is currently unknown.
