A person has been taken to hospital after being found with serious stab wounds in a grocery store in central Katrineholm.
– We have made the assessment that it is a sharp object of unclear nature with which the person has been injured. It could be a knife or something else sharp, says police spokesperson Johnny Gustavsson.
The police are now trying to find out if the crime took place inside the grocery store or if the injured person went there to get help.
– Now it is very important for us to get witness information that can steer us in the right direction and possibly start a hunt for a perpetrator.
The incident is being investigated as attempted murder.
