A person was pulled from a vehicle after a crash in an Indigenous community southwest of London early Friday, the Strathroy-Caradoc fire department said.
The collision happened at Muncey and Jubilee roads at about 6 am, officials said. Firefighters arrived on the scene and extricated the driver and passenger. The crash occurred in Munsee-Delaware, located about a 30-minute drive southwest of London
Both people were taken to hospital. The passenger was flown, having suffered serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the crash was not made publica s of midday Friday. Drivers were being asked to avoid the area amid the police investigation.
A photo from the scene shows a sedan upside-down on what appears to be a hill filled with trees, its roof likely crushed in the crash.
