A man was pinned under a loading machine in Edenberga in Laholm on Sunday evening. Emergency services and several ambulances were called to the scene. The man’s condition is critical and he has been taken to hospital, the police say.
– The police received the alarm at 19.19 regarding a man in Laholm in what looks like an agricultural property who was pinned down during work with a hay bale, says Jon Franzén, officer on duty at police region West.
– The police arrive first at the scene and can ascertain that the man is lying under a forklift. The police then lift the work machine and free the man and then start CPR. Then the ambulance takes over after a while, says Jon Franzén.
The police are investigating the incident as an occupational accident.
