A man has escaped from a psychiatric hospital in Upplands Väsby north of Stockholm.
The police are looking for him with, among other things, police cars.
– He has been out walking with carers and then ran from the scene, says Ola Österling at the Stockholm police.
The alarm to the police came at 12.57.
According to information to TV4 Nyheterna, the police are searching with dogs and a helicopter.
– We have the resources in place that we believe are necessary. Among other things, police cars, says Ola Österling.
It is unclear whether the man is considered a danger to the public.
– That is a question the region can answer, says Ola Österling.
TV4 Nyheterna has been in contact with Region Stockholm, which does not want to comment on the incident.
