A man has been found dead in an apartment in Uppsala on Monday evening, relatives have been notified.
– It is unclear how this person died, what we will do now is wait for the information from forensic medicine about the cause of death, says Tobias Ahlén-Svalbro, press spokesperson at the police.
As the police cannot rule out that crime is behind the person’s death, a preliminary investigation into murder has been launched.
– It is the medical services that contact us as they have been on site because of the deceased person, says Tobias Ahlén-Svalbro.
A technical examination and a forensic examination will now be carried out.. No one has been arrested.
