On Monday afternoon, the police received an alarm about a suspected drowning in a watercourse outside Hagfors, NWT reports. Emergency services, ambulance and police were called to the scene and found a body in the water.
At 21:07, the police confirmed on their website that one person is dead and that the police are investigating a serious crime. The next of kin have been informed.
The place where the person was found is cordoned off so forensics can carry out a crime scene investigation. The police do not want to give any more details.
