A 39-year-old Norfolk County resident faces charges as the result of an intimate partner violence investigation.
Police responded to a disturbance just before 9 pm on Wednesday, February 7 to find two individuals engaged in a confrontation.

One person sustained minor injuries when the confrontation turned physical. Their property was also damaged.
The accused was arrested and charged with assault causing bodily harm – choke, suffocate or strangle, and mischief – destroys or damages property.
