Was surprised on his birthday
On Christmas Eve, Pernilla Wahlgren turned 56 and on the day in honor she was surprised in the morning by her children, grandchildren, daughter-in-law and parents.
But something she didn’t expect was that it would sow a chorus in her home. The surprise had been planned by the daughter Bianca Ingrosso and the son Benjamin Ingrosso. Benjamin Ingrosso had also practiced with the choir in the church two days earlier.

In a post on Pernilla Wahlgren’s Instagram, she shares the surprise.
“But when I then go down to what I think should just be a family breakfast – and am greeted by the singing of a whole CHOIR standing in our music room and singing “O Holy Night” with angelic voices – accompanied by Benjamin on the grand piano – then it burst I say…!”, writes Pernilla Wahlgren in the Instagram post.
Not part of Wahlgren’s world
In the Instagram post, she points out that the surprise was completely on her own initiative and not part of Wahlgren’s world recording.
“And no, “Wahlgren’s World” was not involved in the filming – so it was not done with “good content” in mind for the program, as many will surely believe..!”, she writes in the post.
