Peridot is set to be a new game from the creators of Pokémon GO. A more realistic simulation than Tamagotchi where you take care of virtual creatures and bond them as pets. We’ll show you everything you need to know so you’re ready for next week’s release.
What is peridot? Niantic’s new mobile game uses augmented reality just like Pokémon-GO. So you use your mobile phone, go outside and collect monsters, the so-called peridots, with your camera. These monsters then basically serve you like virtual pets. You can collect them, care for them, feed them, breed them and make them happy in order to develop them further.
According to the developer, each peridot is unique, because an integrated breeding system allows characteristics, looks and rarities to vary. The game can be played solo or with friends to create unique combinations.

When will Peridot be released? The release will take place on May 09, 2023. This is a Tuesday. The time is not yet known.
Where can I download the game? The game will be available for both Android and iOS. You can pre-register for the game in your app stores to be notified when the download is ready.
Is there a bonus for starting? If you have already registered in advance and played the game in the first two weeks after launch, you will receive a party hat for your dot as a small present.
