However, complications arise during the assignment and Dial suddenly finds himself in the crossfire. The local police are after him and Collins offers no support either. He has to cover up the contract killings he is involved in.
An action flick with Game of Thrones stars that is reminiscent of Léon – The Professional and Reacher
Wesley Snipes was one of the icons of action films, especially in the 1990s. After 2004’s Blade: Trinity, he was only rarely in major Hollywood films to be seen and more focused on B-movies abroad. One of them is The Contractor, which was published in 2007. In addition to him, two stars from Game of Thrones, Lena Headey and Charles Dance, can also be seen.
In the film, Dial also meets twelve-year-old Emily, played by Eliza Bennett. The emerging one Friendship between the killer and the child is very reminiscent of elements from Léon – The Professional with Jean Reno and Natalie Portman. Although the story of The Contractor cannot keep up with the masterpiece, the acting is impressive.
The fact that the CIA killer himself becomes the hunted is also reminiscent of the currently popular action series Reacher. The eponymous Reacher just had to hide from the government in season 2 in order to eliminate the real villains.
Reacher Season 3 could be coming sooner than expected
With films like The Contractor, Reacher fans can bridge the time until the new season. Fortunately, the wait is expected to be shorter than it was for Season 2. Because almost two years have passed between seasons 1 and 2. But the third season is already in production.
