Nine years ago, Thor 4 director Taika Waititi and his comedy partner Jemaine Clement brought an extremely idiosyncratic vampire story to the cinema. 5 room kitchen coffin tells the story of a person in supposedly documentary images chaotic vampire shared apartment. The success of the film was followed by a spin-off series.
What We Do in the Shadows premiered in 2019 on US broadcaster FX and moves the story from the suburbs of Wellington to Staten Island, New York. Four years later, the end of the popular mix of fantasy, horror and comedy is announced. According to Vulture, it is upcoming 6th season the last.

The focus of What We Do in the Shadows is four vampires who have made themselves comfortable in a shared apartment: Nandor (Kayvan Novak), Laszlo (Matt Berry), Colin (Mark Proksch) and Nadia (Natasia Demetriou). There is also a human roommate/slave Guillermo (Harvey Guillen).
There are five seasons each based on this premise ten half-hour episodes appeared. The 6th season is scheduled to appear on FX in 2024 and will bring the story to an end with another ten episodes. There is also a New Zealand spin-off series of the original, Wellington Paranormal.
