(Finance) – The colossus PepsiCo it would be laying off hundreds of workers at its North American division sites. The reports Wall Street Journal which cites a memo, viewed, directed to employees in North America.
In the note, PepsiCo reportedly communicated to employees that the goal is to simplify the organization so that it can operate “more efficiently”.
According to the report, most of the cuts will be in the beverage sector, while the snack sector has already reduced positions through a voluntary retirement program.
